TheOldBear Posted October 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2022 Back in 2010, I recall paying the standard corkage fee for a 'magnum' 1.5 L bottle. Does anyone have recent [post covid] experience with corkage on larger wine bottles?
Rare Se1lad Posted October 3, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2022 As they don’t mention an extra charge I would expect the same corkage fee to be applied. 1.5L bottles can sometimes cost surprisingly more than 2 x 0.75L bottles of the same vintage so double check you’re still going to make a saving first! john watson Posted October 16, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2022 I think there has to be a point where you would be charged extra. If you took a Melchizedek with you I think the Maitre'd may have reservations about levying the standard corkage charge. Regards John
