Voyager of the Seas Disembarkation in Boston...what time did you get off if you didn't have a flight?

Recommended Posts

I will be on the ship for the October 16th cruise.   I am wondering how early we can disembark if we don’t have a flight?   We are going to be catching a ferry to Salem that morning and I am trying to figure out what time I should pick.  Obviously,  we would like to be on the 9:30 ferry but I don't know if we would have enough time.   Also, we don’t want to carry our own luggage off.

Any suggestions?

Thanks. How

I got off the Voyager this past Sunday.  We were off the ship by 9.  Originally, we were given Tag #4 which was supposed to disembark by 8 but our ride would not be there until 9:15 so I went to guest services as requested a later disembarkation time.  They gave us Tag #19 which was due to disembark at 9 a.m.  I know you could disembark as early as 7:30.  Disembarkation was very quick and ahead of schedule.

Our departure a week ago was at 8:50, and we were outside by 9am.  Customs took place on board, which REALLY sped things up.

We also sped up our process by carrying our luggage off the ship.

We had a 9:00 time yesterday, we could have left at 8:30.

We did the onboard face-to-face check at Portland, told we would have to go through declarations in Boston which didn't happen at all.  With no duty free shopping, not much point.
