Early Arrival - Holiday Inn Port of Miami – Downtown

I am booked at Holiday Inn Port of Miami – Downtown on Biscayne across from Bayside Marketplace in February. Our flight lands at Noon, so I am estimating we would be at the hotel around 1pm. However, check in for the hotel is at 3pm. I never been “early” for a check-in. Will they let us to our room early? We can easily spend the day across at Bayside, but what do we do with our luggage? I am freaking out just a little bit. We would have 2 large checked suitcases, 2 small carry on suitcases, and 1 heavy backpack.

If the room isn't ready the hotel normally has a location near check in where they will store your luggage. If it isn't too busy you shouldn't have to wait too long.

Agree.  When I have arrived at a hotel and my room is not ready, the Bell Captain will store my luggage while I do whatever I want to do.
