pfleer Posted October 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2022 We have two rooms booked. They are across the hall from each other. My husband is booked in one room with one daughter and I am booked in the other room with our other daughter. On Carnival, first day, we would go to the customer service desk and they would give us a 2nd keycard so that we could all access each other's room. Is that how RCCL does it too? Thanks! retiredgram Posted October 12, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2022 Yes. I thought that if kids were right across hall or next to your cabin they could be booked in their own cabin. Getting extra key works, though.
SRF Posted October 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2022 Technically it requires connecting rooms. But practically, they have allowed next door or across the hall.

As far as extra keys not an issue either.
Rare brillohead Posted October 16, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2022 You could also just change the room keys around so the kids are in one room and the adults are in another room.... keeps you from having to carry two key cards around. Just get a spare key to the kids' room and keep it in the parents' room.
