iuki Posted October 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2022 When booking a cruise sailing out of Europe, does RCI quote you a price for airfare? If airfare goes up at the time of the cruise, do you pay the difference? I have never cruised out of another country.

Be sure to look at one way prices, in the past two one way fares were often much cheaper than a single round trip. Post covid many things are changing. Air France and Lufthansa have often been the best priced airline from Royals Air2Sea flying from California to Europe.

crzndeb Posted October 18, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2022 Air2Sea used to be easy to track online and check fares. They have now made it difficult and you have to call. I have used them for one way International flights in the past, and got a great deal on Business class. The prices aren’t so good anymore, and I find them comparable to the airlines themselves. I use airline miles now, when I can.

Once you are ticketed you should not need to worry about the price going up. That being said, I'll bet there are rules that can be evoked to raise the costs. I'm thinking of things like the oil clause in the cruise contract. Still, I wouldn't worry.

Your airfare is different from the cruise fare. The answer to your question is no, the price is what it is when you bought it.
