Does anyone have experience with getting wheelchair assistance to get on the ship?

my husband has some mobility issues and climbing that ramp has gotten to much for him but he is hesitant to ask for help.

I came to the Baltimore Cruise port in 2018 using a cane. When I entered I was approached and offered a wheelchair to get on the ship.

In addition to a wheelchair, as you're about at the ramp, security will allow you to enter the ship on dock level.  I've done this several times myself when on Royal.
