Loveh2ofl Posted October 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2022 https://www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/ Ready To Welcome You On Board Updated October 21, 2022 It’s easier than ever to prepare for your cruise. All guests are welcome – regardless of vaccination status – and vaccination and testing requirements have been lifted on most voyages! This applies to itineraries to all destinations except where government regulations may vary like Australia and on a few enhanced guidelines voyages that have their own vaccination and testing requirements. Look up requirements for your voyage with our CruiseHealth tool. This information is also available to booked guests within Cruise Personalizer. Only available for upcoming cruises. For cruises departing further out, check back closer to your sail date. 1

konatyme Posted October 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2022 And always read all the way to the bottom of any and all pages. When we got on in Rome on Sept. 10 about 11 AM, a woman and her husband were in the midst of being refused boarding because they didn't get COVID tested before boarding. It was required at that time under "enhanced" requirements because our cruise was visiting Greece and the wording then said "embarking, visiting, or disembarking in Greece". She kept insisting that the website said no testing needed, but evidently simply hadn't scrolled down far enough (or noticed the asterisks). Don't know what happened to them; when we were told to board, Princess staff were sending someone to retrieve their luggage from being loaded onto the ship. I would think they would have had plenty of time to go into Civitavecchia and get tested, then return before sailing that evening. Hopefully, that's what happened.
