NCL Excursion Meetup Locations - St Thomas

We're on the Encore, stopping at St Thomas.  Hours listed as 11:30AM to 7:00PM.  We'll be on the St John Escape tour at 1:30 (1:30 - 5:30).

Ideally, we'd like to do a bit of shopping in St Thomas ahead of the excursion.  Question is, does NCL typically do their excursion meeting places on board or on the pier?  If we need to get back into the ship to meet our excursion that's going to leave nearly no time in St Thomas in the morning.

Normally NCL excursions meet in the theater.  There will be instructions where to meet on your shore excursion tickets.

It is possible the ship will arrive in St Thomas early.  Even if it doesn't there is shopping very very close to where the ship docks.  See below link

FYI - Depending on the number of ships in port that day, NCL could dock at either Crown Bay (on the western side of Charlotte Amalie) or Havensight (on the eastern side of Charlotte Amalie) (this is the usual dock).

from what i noticed  over the years, the only ships that dock at Crown Bay is the Royal Caribbean branded ships and all other cruise lines like Carnival, NCL, etc all use Havensight

For a tender port- most of the time you meet on a ship… but for St Thomas (as of yesterday and has been everytime

I've been there) you meet right off the ship before security. We were docked 12-7 and had a meet up time of 130 and I got off, walked around the shops then met back through security by the ship.
