Wayfairers Posted October 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2022 Is there a beach within walking distance to the port? Is there a shuttle to any beaches from the port area or do we have to take a bus or taxi? I’m just starting to research and having some difficulty finding a beach close to the port. This posted thread could be the main reason why nobody has replied. People are not interested in taking a walk to a Tobago beach.

Mona-Lisa Posted May 13, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 13, 2023 We are Celebrity Silhouette this November and I am looking forward to our Tobago visit as this is a rarely visited port. Looked up some YouTube videos and actually it seems they have MaxiTaxi shared shuttles to tourist destinations. I think it is a cheap island and I don't expect to pay more than few dollars to the e.g. Pigeon Point. Other thing I consider is to hire a taxi for full day island tour. I don't expect to pay more than 120-150 USD... I m sure there will be a lot of official/unofficial taxis to offer their services when the ship docks. It seems they are really fighting to attract more and more ships stop here so they appreciate any business.
