BruceMuzz Posted October 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2022 The Japan Times reported yesterday that South Korea will be allowed to resume passenger ship services between South Korea and Japan (to a limited number of Japanese Ports) on 04 November. So far this is only for South Korean flagged ships, and only to a small number of Japanese West Coast Ports. But it is a great re-start.

Just thinking outloud, but there is likely no current demand for Western cruise ships (to call at Japanese Ports) since I do think any western cruises are scheduled for Japan until February (somebody can check me on this). Lets hope that Japan allows all the early spring cruises to dock. If not, it will cause all kinds of chaos with multiple cruise lines.
