Bacardi Factory?

Has anyone visited the Bacardi Factory recently? We'll be visiting San Juan on Dec 4th and one of our party mentioned doing the tour.

We are going in January.  There are some youtube videos on it.

We did the tour a few years ago.  Definitely worth doing the rum tasting option.  You try many different types which included a few very expensive one's.

We highly recommend Bacardi and doing the Rum Tasting Tour.  The tour is very interesting and the rums you'll taste are great (well....except the first which is just the cheap white Bacardi), but the last one...Oh my goodness!!

Who do you recommend taking a tour with as there are none on our cruise listed.

I believe the first time we did it with Celebrity, but the next time we just took the short ferry ride over and a short taxi ride to Bacardi.  It's very easy to do on your own.  The ferry leaves from Old San Juan near the cruise terminal in town.  On the other side, there will be taxi's available.

I don't know how accurate the information is but Bacardi's website states that currently taxis are not available at the Catano pier.

Interesting!  I would probably contact Bacardi directly to make sure that is up to date.  Also could check on Uber.
