Disembarkment

Hi

We are sailing on QM2 and arriving Southampton on my birthday. It is our first cruise so not sure how much time we have on board (We are on GQ) or what. The process is. I am just wanting to manage my expectation and be realistic what will happen.

Also, what is the gym opening hours as I enjoy work out and tend to do it almost everyday. Not sure how it going to be possible factoring this in while going on trips.

Thanks and have a good day.

They like you to be off the ship quite early on the final day, breakfast is served earlier and the process now is that you can wait in your cabin until your colour tags are called.

Somebody else will have to help with the gym, definitely not my area of expertise!

Thanks so.. I have breakfast in the QG then go back to room and wait until our group to be called? If so roughly what time?

We were in QG and just got off in New York on October 25.

We were in disembarkation group 2 and our disembarkation time was listed as 8 AM.

The QG restaurant opened early, I believe it was 6:30 AM.

What I liked this time was they were checking the queue and making sure that the only people who were in line, were members of the proper designated group. This prevented a free-for-all with everybody trying to jump the line and get off at the same time.

We had our luggage,  was through immigration, and in front of the terminal by 830.
