Carnival Magic lido interior or deck one oceanview help me decide ....

Hello all ~ I was hoping to get opinions/thoughts on which cabin to choose on carnival magic ~ lido interior verses deck one ocean view cabin ~ trying to go on a promotion, and both are the same price.  Please let me know your thoughts ~ thank you!

We just had this situation and decided Interior on Lido.  Hopefully it still works that the tv can be set to the bridge cam (sound turned off) so you can wake to a "natural" light.

OV. You feel nothing on Deck 1 and it's so quiet. You get a couch too.

Oceanview.  It's a much bigger room.  OV's on Magic are actually huge.

Location, location, location!  Go with the Lido!

No way would I EVER take an interior room, especially on Lido! Ocean view regardless of location.

I would go Lido interior. I have had a few Lido deck cabins and looooooved the location! 

However, that said, if you tend to not do well with the motion, go with the OV. I prefer a rockier ride (sleep like a baby!)  but DH is more sensitive and notices it when we have cabins on higher decks.

The various responses here  show that  you will be very fine either way!
 

We have booked an ocean view on deck one for many years and have alway been very happy:

 

*comfortable room with a couch

*It’s fun to look out on the port arrivals and sunsets

*less motion and rocking

* easy to get back to our room after port days:  one flight of stairs up and you’re there!

 

But whatever you choose, it will be good!

Thank you all so much for the responses ~ I really appreciate it ~ I found out some things on here that I did not know ~ I am sure we will be happy with either ~ but have decided on the deluxe ocean view for a few reasons ~ able to get mid ship, room is bigger, couch is nice, and did not know about the 2nd bathroom with small tub and sink ~ I stayed on a "cove balcony" before so I am OK with being lower on the ship.

The promotion price was the same ~ so I decided to go for that.   

I do want to try Lido deck though in the future.
