pmjnh Posted November 3, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2022 We will be disembarking one ship and boarding another (same cruise line, same day) in SanDiego. How close will the ships piers be? Will we use the same cruise terminal for both? Just wondering how far we will have to schlep our luggage. Thanks
CruiserBruce Posted November 3, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2022 Maybe. There are 3 docking locations. If you look on Google Maps, they are clearly marked as " Cruise Ship Terminal" and "B Street Terminal ". We have seen ships at all 3 locations in different mixes. So it is possible to have one ship on each side of the " Cruise Ship Terminal " ( they only dock on one side of the "B Street Terminal "). If there are two ships at the Cruise Ship Terminal, you will do your check in processing in the same Terminal building, particularly if they are the same cruise line, which have seen happen as recently as last March. All told, the distance between the 3 possible docking locations is about 2 blocks.
KeepCalmBearOn Posted November 3, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2022 They are side by side, unless three ships are in, then it is one more berth to the left.
