What is a Hump cabin??

I am new to cruising and as I read the boards, I see discussions about getting a hump cabin..Would someone please clue me in to where hump cabins are located or what they are???:confused:--thanks--Judy

They are cabins that are on the "hump" of the ship. More specifically, the mid-section part of the ship that juts out wider than the rest. These cabins tend to have larger balconies although I am not sure that any of the cabins themselves are much bigger. Hope that helps.

We just had a "hump" cabin on the AOS recently and really enjoyed this cabin and it's excellent location. The balcony was slightly larger because of it's hump location on the ship. In addition, hump cabins are centrally located close to elevators and stairways.....

Not all ships have the "hump"--you need to check the deck plans for your ship.
