Cruise ships only allowed 1000 passengers and crew to come to Bar Harbor, Maine

There has been a petition to limit cruise passengers at the port of Bar Harbor, Maine.  This has been going on for a while, but just yesterday there was a vote by the citizens of Bar Harbor to limit cruise passengers and crew to only 1000 and that includes passengers and crew.  The Harbor Master has instructions to fine the cruise ship $100 for each person over the 1000 people limit.  Charlie Sidman, who was the Lead Petition Organizer boldly stated that vacationers were a better class of people than passengers on a cruise ship.  I realize that there is nothing any of us can do about the limitations, but his words were a slap in the face to those of us that have spent thousands of dollars to cruise.  You can find this on YouTube.
