All V, DV, and PV staterooms an send laundry out and pay for it.  In the morning you fill out a form, put the items in the provided bag, and leave it on the bed.  The cabin steward will take it to the laundry.

I don't have the prices handy but it is less than most hotels we have stayed in.  Not cheap either.

Yes this is correct. You use the same form you use for the pressing.

....does anyone know the fees?

Also, would one arrange this, if available, thru one’s Cabin Steward?

Yes, you fill out the form and you can just leave it on your bed if you like.  Here are the fees:

Wow, these prices are very reasonable for a ship!  (And very different from Viking River--I remember each t-shirt was $4 and trousers $10.)  Has me rethinking my DIY laundry strategy!

If we have the ship do our laundry, can we request cold water wash/low temp dry?  Or should we just assume everything we put in the laundry bag is going to be washed in one load with warm water/high heat dry?

We always asked for cold wash air dry and it worked perfectly for us

How long did it take for your laundry to come back, please?  Wondering if special instructions comes back in the same time as other laundry or if we would need to factor in extra time for return.

Many thanks,

Many thanks,

We asked for cold wash, hang to dry and our laundry would be returned the next day in the afternoon  There wasn't any difference between special instructions and normal laundry in our experience.

We had a similar experience. Provided the items were bagged and ready for the cabin steward by 09:00 they were returned by 16:00 the following day, regardless of any special requests.
