We received an email today about a special event on our upcoming cruise, the Andy Matsuda dinner. Just wondering about this. Has anyone been to this and could tell about it?  I couldn’t find any information besides the cost.  TIA

I never heard of it on a cruise, nor read of it on CC.

Holland America World Stage Sushi Event - Chef Andy Matsuda, Culinary Council Member. He has a great sushi restaurant in Torrance California. He held a event last year on Holland America.

No other info so contact HAL or your PCC in regards to more info! His restaurant is excellent!!

He is the chef behind tamarind - I would be willing to bet his dinner would be quite an experience!

The HAL chefs are rotating through the ships. Although I can't remember the specifics @gwilliwe did his dinner and would absolutely do it again! The "one of a kind" special dinners are always top shelf in my opinion!
