tinykygal Posted March 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2006 I am very conservative about spending extra $$$...that enables us to cruise. I pack 2 reg. sized water bottles for DH and me...goes into my carry-on. Having said that, we do not bring wine or sodas. Our 4th cruise is nearing and I have downsized from our first one, quite a hassel for us with so much luggage. I refill our water bottles if we are leaving the ship for a port. The ship sells water as you depart at ports. We love our diet soft drinks but found that we do not miss them at all on the ship - lots of water, tea (actually good tea), lemonade available - no extra charge. RCCL has reinstated wine pkgs and that enables us to save a few $$$, very few, as opposed to per bottle price. Hope this helps.
