Nieuw Statendam cabins 4104 and 4115

Good morning

 

Looking at inside cabins 4104 and 4115 on the  Nieuw  Statendam. Looks as though they are over the atrium. Anyone know if there are any sound issues?

This board doesn't get the traffic it should! Many people (who might have answers) just don't check here. 

 

I found no reviews or pics of these cabins on any Pinnacle ships, but did find a few pics of similar-orientation 6127 on the Koningsdam (with a short writeup), if you are also interested in the arrangement of this unusual cabin:

I will be able to answer better after our New Years cruise in a nearby Vista Suite! But, in general I did not worry about noise from the attrium as HAL does not hold many activities there, unlike some other lines. I would rather be OVER a public area than UNDER, as noise & vibration comes through the floor (the ceiling above you) worst than through the space below your floor. A positive is being near the Dutch Cafe!

Just sailed on NS last month - no issues with noise from the Atrium, but those particular cabins you will have elevator and pedestrian noise. The more full the ship, the more noise at the mid-elevator. Also remember that port days those stairwells also get heavy traffic from people going to gangway.
