At port: bringing non-alcoholic drinks back on board

I already know that at embarcation I can bring 12 cans of soda on board.

 

What's people experience with walking back on board after being in port? (We'll be on the Panorama in December.) Will they ask me to dump my half full Mexican coke (in a can, of course)? Will they care if my husband brings a couple of sealed sodas back on board?

I never had any trouble bringing a bottle or two of soda pop back on board.  Sealed and/or half drunk.  Nothing has ever been said about it.

You can bring non-alcoholic beverage back from every port up to 12 cans per person no bottles are allowed.

Pre-COVID we brought additional 12-pack cans of soft drinks back on board during a port stop and it wasn't a problem. Bottles might be an issue if they don't comply with Carnival's beverage policy.

Cool! I'm glad you asked because I did not know this. Or maybe I did but been a few years since we sailed....plus I don't even drink soft drinks lol. We always take almost everything we brought onboard right back home. But this time we're traveling with others so this might help them out.

I didn’t know this either and assumed you couldn’t until I saw someone bringing a case of pop back at a port.

I do it all the time because I would like to get some monsters energy drinks and they  don’t sell them on the boat.

Definitely can bring it in cans. They have had me throw out water bottles a few times in the past.
