If you are thinking of the Navigator, 4- night Catalina Island and Ensenada cruise...it may be a bit chilly by the pool.

 

* They do have blankets they hand out on deck 12 by the pool...and another option is the Solarium, there's a small pool and 2 jacuzzis..always nice and toasty there.

LA does get winter weather.  The rainy season is usually Jan-March.  Like everywhere, it's hit and miss.  I remember some years back, being on the beach on Christmas Day, and other times, hunkering down indoors during a thunder storm.  Just remember, the temps out in the Pacific are WAY different than the temps on land.   Be on the lookout for Humpback Whales.  They hang around off the Coast until they start the migration back upto Alaska around March.
