Hi all doing a 7night Middle East cruise embarking in Dubai. 
2 days In Dubai then ports of call 

Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas island, Dammam Saudi Arabia, Doha Qatar any advice on things we could see or do in these ports or would it be safer just to go on the ships tours. 
Any advice appreciated.

Did you start a roll-call for the cruise on MSC-Roll call boards? You might find people to share excursions with. I personally would do ship-tours. We had been in Dubai for 2 weeks and when we did an excursion to Oman the immigration officer on the boarder was very unfriendly, the attitude towards foreigners over there is sometimes scary.
