Hi has anyone been on the Land & Sea Tour of Fort Lauderdale on diembarkation day which ends at Miami airport? If you have can you tell me a bit about it and what you saw and whether you got to the airport in plenty time for your flight. TIA

Hi LondonCruisers, we are going on the10th of March cruise from Dubai calling at Dammam in Saudi but have seen so many conflicting stories on here and from MSC about the Saudi Visa?? Does your cruise go into Saudi? have you applied for a Saudi visa? Have u got any info on this topic?

So did u not have a Saudi visa to join the ship or did you have to apply for the more expensive tourist visa?

Hi Bluestones, my wife and I are also a retired couple but we are booked on the 10th March cruise from Dubai. Have u applied for a Saudi visa or are you not planning on going ashore there? If you did was it the Saudi transit visa for cruisers?

Hi let me know how u get on please we join World Europa on 10th March at Dubai. I tried applying for it a few days ago but first problem I encountered was the photo request I dont know how to reduce the file size to 1m? Then got stuck at steps 11,12,13 and 14 as what I was told to enter at these questions the site wouldn’t let me. I hope you have better luck than me. It is a reasonable price.

Contact MSC they will send you the link to it and the steps to follow to fill it in. some people get it to work some don’t

How did u manage to get your photo the correct size? Every time I take the photo with my IPhone it says it is to big?

Will the onboard currency on World Europa when she is sailing from Dubai be Dirhams? should I tip my cabin Steward in Dirhams?

Hi adam7392 thanks for that info. Much appreciated. Did u get a Saudi visa? I’ve been told by MSC I need to get one whether I go ashore at Dammam or not. They gave me the details on how to get it but was wondering how long it takes to come through you can apply for it online at the MOFA portal a transit visa it was called. Have u any experience of this?

Can anyone recommend any of the MSC shore excursions in Abu Dhabi? Are you far from the city centre where the ship docks at? Any other things worth going to see that MSC don’t do trips to?

Hi my wife and I are going on the MSC World Europa on the 10th March 2023 from Dubai. We are flying out to Mauritius for a week at the beach before joining the ship. We are from Scotland. Is there anyone else out there going same time as us? Have u done anything about the Saudi Visa? We are looking forward to seeing this new ship.

Thanks for this info I will hold back till February next year and see what happens as once you apply for it there is no chance of a refund. For a country that’s interested in getting into tourism they need to get their act together and encourage not discourage people by making you spend money on a visa for 10hrs in port!!
