Availability of beach chairs in afternoon

We are going on a whale watch excursion in the morning in Grand Turk. I  have fond memories of our prior visits before the mess I  now read about with the beach chairs.  If we aren't hitting the beach until around 3 PM, do you think we can find some free seating?  Our ship leaves at 5, and I have no desire to pay for lougers for just an hour or so.

I been dazed and confused for so long it’s not true. Sorry, I posted then realized I was thinking of Mahogany Bay and the free chairs. Removed my original post.
We always walk down the beach to Jack’s Shack. $15 for chairs/umbrella and good food/drinks at hand.

There are usually plenty of chairs available at either Margaritaville or over by the Beached Whale.  Unless you want to head to Jacks no reason to pay for chairs.

Also depends on number of ships in port with you and when they are departing.  Some arrive early and leave around 3 or 4 so those people are on board or getting on board when you get back to the cruise center.
