Deceptive Advertising Pop-Ups on CC

Lately (past 3 weeks), I've been getting very deceptive pop-ups trying to add spy-ware to my browser.  Possibly it's from advertisers on CC that don't like that I run ad blocking software.  Hate getting pop-ups, especially when they are accompanied with spy-ware and virus warnings from the software that keeps my browser safe.
