Dining package on the Edge

My wife and I are booked on the Edge leaving February 24th. Haven't cruised on Celebrity recently and I have a question regarding the 4,5,6 etc dining packages.

Do they include all the specialty restaurants, including the Magic Carpet and Eden? Do you reserve all the restaurants before boarding the ship or now. Also, does the package include gratuitiues for those restaurants or are you expected to tip? Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Package can include Eden not special dinners such as Chef's Table, Magic Carpet on the Edge, or Veuve Clicquot dinner.  

 

The biggest downside with the packages is you cannot reserve the specific Specialty Restaurant or the desired time until you board the ship and talk to the M`D. By then, many of the desirable times will be gone and you are stuck with what's left.  If you want to dine at 7:00 pm, most popular venues will be sold at. They will offer you a 9:00 pm time slot instead.

Regarding the gratuities, they add and 18% service charge to the package price you see advertised.
