Parking in NOLA cruise terminal

Will be sailing from NOLA for the first time and I am wondering if I can park at the Erato Cruise terminal parking even though I will be sailing with NCL from the Julia Street terminal?

Why park at Erato when you can park across the street from the NCL terminal, ie, the Whale Lot?

My opinion, park in the Erato cruise terminal since it is far more convenient.  It may cost a little more but you will never be outside.

Good question but I’m not sure and would like to know as well. We’ve always parked in the whale lot but hearing it is not the place to park these days.

Reminds me of an incident that happend to me in my local airport parking.  I returned from a trip to find that I could not start my car because the locking mechanism had been broken.  Upon investigtion with parking lot security, we found that all the Camaro's with manual shifts parked in the lot, five in all, were in the same condition.  No other cars were touched.  I had to call the police to file a report, a wrecker to tow the car, and a cab to get home.  I didn't get home until five hours after my flight landed.  I filed a very interesting expense voucher.  My company paid all the expenses.
