What is NCL doing for the Super Bowl on Feb. 12, 2023?

Looking forward to watching the Super Bowl with 4,000 other people this February. Does anyone know if and what NCL does special for the day and during the game?

I watched a Super Bowl in the Breakaway's theater.  They passed out bags of popcorn.  Theater was about half full.  Super Bowl was also available on cabin TV screens.

I was on a Super Bowl cruise many years ago on the Gem.  They had the game on in the atrium, with a hot dog stand.  You could get your face painted.

 

Depending on what network is broadcasting the game, you might be able to see it on the tv in your cabin.

 

I would think that what happens on your particular cruise may depend on that ship's General Manager, Cruise Director and the Food and Beverage Director.

This past February on the Joy, we watched it on the pool deck as they showed it on the big outdoor screen.  Chairs were set up facing the screen.   It was a nice experience watching the game in the outdoor sea air.   I would get there early as our ship had very low capacity and all chairs were occupied.

The Super Bowl will be shown on just about every TV ship-wide. Also the casino usually does a pool with squares (around $20-$25/each). Lots of people will be wearing their team jerseys. Just note that you will only see the game, not the commercials as it is broadcast via satellite.

We’ve found that to be the case generally, but one year we saw commercials from the Caribbean region in which we were sailing.

They’ll probably be showing a soccer game repeatedly that was played 2 months ago on every TV on the ship (j/k).
