NotTheBatesMotel Posted December 29, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2022 We’re set to sail at the end of January. One of my family members recently had a medical event while driving and their license was suspended. That is the form of ID he planned to board with because his passport is expired. (Yes, I know the importance of passports and my family will sail with ours) Is a suspended license still considered a valid ID for boarding purposes? It is not expired. It's my understanding that a suspended license is still a valid ID. You just can't drive. That said, I believe that suspended licenses are supposed to be surrendered to the DMV. Maybe that's only in some states, but it would be worth checking out.
