"Tabayana Beach" is a resort area on West Bay Beach....

Loveley place...but so is the other resorts along this beach.

You can pay for a taxi to take you to the Mayan Princess resort for much cheaper and it is just as nice and has a nice beach bar/restaurant too.

Here is a link to our day in West Bay.

Either way you decide to go: a day in West Bay with your family will not disappoint you...very relaxing and beautiful.

Tabyana is the best beach on the island, with some of the best snorkeling (depending on the crowd size)..Although it is merely part of the entire West Bay beach area. The ship excursion does include all one needs for a wonderful day on Roatan, making it a "no-brainer" day.

For those more adventurous, get out and see the rest of the island...including all the wonderful beaches, etc.

We were at Tabyana Beach a year ago. We booked a Zip Line tour thru NCL that included a lunch (it was so so) and a day at the beach. As far as I'm concerned Tabyana Beach is one of the best beaches that I've been on. It's quite large and can handle a large amount of people. The day we were there it was very busy, but had no trouble snorkeling, swimming, and walking the beach. Ed
