I think bring flowers on board is a great idea. I noticed on our last cruise, Princess doesn't have fresh flowers anymore. We use to have flowers in our photos on formal nights.

It also depends on the transportation you are using to get to the port and how many ships are in port that day.

Still having the same error Message - Error 403 today. Wanted to double check the last of our gift cards for our final payment. Just sent in an email, hope I can get a reply in time. Otherwise we'll have to hope for the best.

Just tried to check a balance on one of my gift cards and still get: ERROR 403. It looks like the only way to find out a balance now is via email.

You need to go on Princess website to get to your personalized. The app is good when your on the ship and the website is good is good before embarkation.

We've have been members for many years and take advantage of other discounts like for food, rental cars, hotels, etc.

I had the same problem on this cruise. We have the military benefit and of course it's in my name and our stockholder benefit I have it put in DW name. For this cruise Princess put both benefits in my name, and we use all our OBC for excursions. Tried several times via email to get the shareholder OBC put in DW's name to no avail. Finally called the stockholder benefit to explain what and why what I wanted, and checked the Princess website about an hour later and found it finally was changed over to DW name. It just a matter who you talk to that matters.

No wonder I couldn't find anything under EZ Check.

We have an Alaska cruise in July and was wondering if the EZ Check will be available. We have been going out of FLL and have used several times and it has worked very well for us. Thanks in advance.

The last time we were on the Star, I remember seating on our balcony and noticed the fire suppression system that was just installed. And remember reading that the fire set a new standard for the entire cruise industry.

On our last Caribbean cruise on embarkation day when we went through our excursion tickets, we noticed that several tours had different times. We were never notified beforehand.

We did the caves before COVID. They are above ground and the big difference depending on the day and time is that they can get very warm 80 degrees + and are very humid. That makes a perfect recipe for mold and mildew. They have fans blowing the air around to keep it cool. I ended up with such a bad sinus infection that had to get an Rx from ships medical.

Not surprising. The notification did not have a promo code, nor a starting or end date, and if it was for a new or existing bookings.

Also; if you want to cruise south of Grenada, like Trinidad & Tobago, you have to do a 14 day cruise. Usually, you get 8 ports and 5 days at sea and do not have to go back to Ft Lauderdale for the second half of the cruise.

I doubt it, I would check with Princess to make sure. The way I read it "To thank the brave men and women of the American and Canadian militaries for their service".

After all this conversation, it "begs" the question - At what point is a boat a ship?

The way it worked for me was if the excursion was cancelled before embarkation day, it was refunded through the card in was purchased on. And if it was cancelled while on the ship then it was refund to your account as an OBC.

From our experience, that is normal. What princess is showing you on the website is the OBC you're entitled to. You probably will not see anything about your account until you get onboard the ship.

I have no problem with MS Windows using Edge, but did have problems using Internet Explore.

I agree with your last paragraph. Since COVID, I do see some improvement however; it is still SLOW.

Thanks to everyone who posted the photos, and we like reading all the observations and comments. We are still hesitant to be on such a large ship, we are also thinking about booking a 7-day cruise just to see and have the experience of being on such a large cruise ship.

With 10+ it was $99, but that was before COVID. Let me know what the rates are now if you go. We will be there Feb 2024.

If Princess would just transfer the stockholder benefit into to DW account, I would not have to go through all that. Princess did it on our last cruise and it worked Great.

I had no problem getting our shareholders benefit for our cruise in Feb 2024. I also get the military benefit and our investment account is in both our names, I requested that the shareholder benefit be put in DW names. We use these benefits for excursions. We got the benefit, but it's not in DW name, we tried several times via emails, but to no avail. We had no problem in the past.

I had a problem with our last cruise. When I made our final payment DMW worked and was able to make our reservation. When we were in the Crown Grill, I explained to our MD what our problems were, he stated not to worry and the best way is to do the reservations is on embarkation, Princess always hold back several reservations.
