SDI vs SDII - ready to book, any major differences?

We are looking to book in Dec 2023 and itineraries are very similar.  Any major differences between boats that we should consider?

They're pretty much identical.  Some people prefer one over the other due to crew members they like.

Understood. We booked the SD1 and are really looking forward to it!! Any tips you may have feel free to send along!

 Unfortunately, it been way too long since our last SD cruise!  We have done three of them on SD1, and had a fabulous time each time.  There are some truly wonderful crew members, though, who have been there for years.  I've been pining to book again.  I don't think you can really go wrong, unless things have changed drastically since our last cruise.  In any case, the ships themselves are basically the same, and from what I've heard, the crew members are equally amazing on both vessels.  

 

We have always booked based on itineraries and dates, and that has meant we've only been on SD1.  I hope to change that at some point soon.
