PNG visa for British passport holder question

Hi all

 

We are booked on Explorer to PNG in October and one of our family members has a British passport (Australian permanent resident) Do you know if P&O will organise their visa the same as Australian passport holders? We’ve tried looking at PNG immigration website and there is no info on this

Just a suggestion, perhaps ask your question on the Australia and New Zealand Cruisers board - Australia and New Zealand Cruisers There are some regulars on the board who have been to PNG in the past few months.

 

 It says on the P&O Aus website that 'Free electronic visas will be issued to all guests upon arrival to Papua New Guinea.'  But the PNG Immigration and Citizenship Authority states that Visa on Arrival is not available. Visa On Arrival

 

The Aus Govt  Smart Traveller website says the following -

Travel
You need a visa to enter PNG and must apply for one before travel. Visas can't be obtained on arrival. You can apply for certain visas online, such as eVisas. eVisas are available through the PNG eVisa portal. Entry and exit conditions can change at short notice. Contact the nearest high commission/embassy or consulate of PNG for the latest details.
