Wonder Escape room

Does anyone know if the Wonder's Royal Society of Puzzles is a true escape room?

It's not.

It is a plain 20 by 20 room with painted white walls and 4 tables with a few chairs.  There are a few objects that you need to find in the room that will help you open some lock boxes (4)  each box contains more clues to the puzzle for you to solve.

That being said, as underwhelming as it appeared the puzzle was extremely challenging (almost overly challenging).  The person that was in charge of our group said she had only had 5 groups solve it in the 4 months she had been doing it.  5 groups out of over 120 solved it.

It was actually fun for free but would have been disappointed had they tried to charge for it.

It is NOT an escape room. My 17 and 20 year olds were very disappointed by this offering and felt it was oversold in the description for what it was. Just go in to this with proper expectations. The staff told my kids the room was not fully ready so they had put out puzzles in the mean time.
