Carnival Time in the Islands!

I just realized that it will be Carnival during our cruise (Feb. 18-25) and wondered what we can expect.  If you've cruised during this week, are there any ports where you can participate in any evening activities?  Does the ship do anything special to celebrate?

Carnival in the islands is celebrated at different times on different islands - for example St Thomas USVI  Carnival is in April, St Croix USVI is December and St John USVI is in July so it depends what island you will be visiting when.  Sorry I can't answer if there will be any onboard celebrations

We on St Bart’s last year for Carnival.  It also happened to be my birthday!  They had a huge parade (I’m guessing because it was Carnival, not because it was my birthday) with lots of dancing troupes that were really spectacular.   It was great fun.

I hope your trip works out to have a great Carnival day!
