What is there to do near the cruise port? Best way to get to French side/Orient beach?

It has been quite a few years since I've been to St. Maarten.

Is there anything near the cruise port?

If I wanted to go to the French side, what is the best/easiest/cheapest way to do so?

If I wanted to go to Orient Beach, what is the best way to go?

Thanks for all information!

Usual beach, bars, restaurants, shops

Where on French side? -

Best is subjective as some prefer a cab, while others favour a Jinty

Cheapest is walk to town, take Jinty from Back Street out, then Jinty back and walk to ship.

One’s preference can decide, as either a private cab or shared minivan as both can be considered being best.

Thanks for all information!
