SMOKING AREAS ON MARDI GRAS

Looking to book a balcony on Mardi Gras and want to avoid smoke smell coming from smoking areas. Does anyone know where the smoking areas are and what side or areas not to book a balcony. TIA

Smoking side is on the starboard side, we always book our balcony or suites on port side.  That being said, you can get a one off smoker on a balcony as well (no one is supposed to be smoking on the balconies but you know some people think the rules dont apply to them so keep it in mind). 

 

To be honest we have not had issues with people smoking around us on balconies in quite a while (pre covid) but I am sure you will hear from the ones that have more recently.

I do know there is a smoking area on deck 8 just forward of Bar De La Rosa.  That is near the center elevator bank location on the starboard side.  We had a balcony cabin on deck 15 directly above the area.  We got an occasional whiff of smoke smell even up there.  The area was quite lively both day and night.  I definitely wouldn't want to have a lower deck balcony above that area.
