emmak8 Posted January 11, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2023 Will EZ air work the same as for a non casino comped cruise? In other words book flexible flights and pay by final date?
pathi Posted January 11, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2023 No you will need to pay up front for flights. You can still swap flights etc up to 45 days prior to sailing. Also make sure you book easy air through casino. I have had casino cruises get messed up when I booked flights from the website.
emmak8 Posted January 11, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted January 11, 2023 Thank you! I thought I saw posts about air getting messed up when booked directly on website. I talked to casino people today and they said no problem book on website. Glad I didn’t listen to rep. Will call back tomorrow. The telephone wait time is just as bad calling casino. emmak8 Posted January 11, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted January 11, 2023 One more thing. The casino people keep asking if I want to book excursions with them. If they can do excursions they should be able to do EZ air.
Rare cruzin4us Posted January 11, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 11, 2023 I hope we can book thru the website, I've had mine locked in for months. The price has gone up almost $1k (for economy) San Diego to Heathrow. Guess I'm going to have to do more investigative work.
emmak8 Posted January 15, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted January 15, 2023 Pathi Is the following what I should do to avoid problems with comped cruise? First call the casino # where I booked the comped cruise. Then tell them the flights I want and pay for flights. This is my first time using casino comp for international cruise. What else can go wrong? The casino forgets to pay and cruise canceled?

When you book EZAir on a comped casino cruise you need to make air payment when you book the air - call the Casino and let them know you booked the air yourself and need to pay for it. They will take payment and ensure the booking is still protected from cancellation. if you booked through a TA contact them to make air payment and they can contact casino for you. emmak8 Posted January 16, 2023 Author #8 Share Posted January 16, 2023 Thank you ! It’s so much easier to get things right ahead of time than to try and unravel a mess !
MsSoCalCruiser Posted January 16, 2023 #9 Share Posted January 16, 2023 Always book air with the Casino department on a Casino comp cruise. I booked air using a PVP and my Casino comped cruise ended up being canceled. It took six hours on the phone to get it straightened out.
emmak8 Posted January 18, 2023 Author #10 Share Posted January 18, 2023 The casino dept put me in touch with a rep from Guest Services. NOT EZ air. I was able to book the flights I want. Still flexible flights although I had to pay for them in full. This is the thing to know about casino comped cruises. Cost of cabin is only thing left unpaid for casino services to take care of several weeks before sailing. Guest pays taxes ,port fees, transfers and air in full at time of booking. There is also $200pp nonrefundable deposit which becomes OBC when you board the ship. When all is said and done I guess it is still a good deal . Of course that is if there are no screwups. It may be my imagination but it seems there are many more casino comped offers than ever. Thanking anyone who can add their experience to this.
