Playa Piskado

We will be in Curaçao on the Odyssey of the Seas on Feb 2, 2023. We reserved a car through Advance Car Rental and are planning to tour the island on our own. At the top of our list is to snorkel with the sea turtles at Playa Piskado. We have our own snorkel gear, but I am wondering if we need to find a guide or boat to take us to where the turtles are, or will we be able to get to them right from the beach? Thank you in advance!

The last time we were in Curacao, we rented a car from Advance.  Pre COVID.

The owner - Celestino - was great and the car and GPS was awesome.

You do not need a boat tour....the turtles are right at the beach.  The fisherman have a huge circular net pen with bait fish that they use and the turtles FLOCK to it.  Also saw huge schools of other smaller fish to the right of the cove by the rocks.

Great place to snorkel and cheap Amstels.
