Anyone ever stay at Comfort Inn and Suites port of Miami?

Have not stayed, but familiar with it. I believe it has been recently renovated, it has switched owners/operators a few times over the past 5-10 years. I will say from the outside, it does not look great. It is an odd corner, but the location is convenient and close to the port. Take a look at recent reviews. I would prefer other hotels such as Hampton Inn Brickell or Courtyard Downtown.

We recently stay there in December and love it especially for the price.  Our room/hotel definitely seemed renovated and spacious. Not sure about the pool area because we never used it nor walked out there. It was probably a 15 min walk to Bayside and Brickell. We also rode the metro mover for free which is right across the street from the hotel. It was about a 5 min ride on the metro mover to Bayside and the mall. Not sure about eatery in the area since we pretty much ate at Bayside or the mall. Ask for a high floor in the back you get a view of the water.  We did take Uber to the port which cost $15. Here are a few pics.

Thinking of booking it. Can  who's actually stayed there fairly recently give any info. Where to eat nearby also.

Anything in particular? This is Downtown Miami/Brickell, the most urban dense area not just in Florida, but pretty much the S.E. U.S. the options are endless for food.

Great to see a recent visit and that the hotel is doing better. It was not so great just a few years ago.
