Rare roxievegas Posted January 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2023 If you have never participated in a slot tournament - do it. I think it is fun (my husband does not) - We just got off the Discovery - Jan 7th (Mexican Riveria) and it was a $25,000 pay out. 1st -$10,000 2nd $2,500 3rd $1,500 4th $1,000 5th $900 6th $800 7th $700 8th $600 9th - 10th - $500 1st - 10th paid in cash the rest is in free play 11th - 16th $400 17th - 24th $300 25th - 30th $200 When you board, your invitation will be in the cabin telling when on that day you must report to the casino to receive your play time and sign the rules form. Day 2 - round one started at 10:00 a.m. - 7 machines - play for 5 minutes and rack up the points. (250 players). At 10:00 pm they post the scores, the top 98 move to the next day - You get another card giving you your new time to show up for the next round. Day 3 round two starts at 10:00 - at 4;00 you return to the casino to find out the top 42 to compete for round 3. The top 7 scorers are in the finals the next day. The players #8 thru #30 are given their prizes that night. I came in 18th in the 3rd round and received $300 free play The top winner - "SA" - he was 98th after the first round. ( your points do not accumalate - you start each round with zero. ) - so technically, he was in last place and ended up winning the "big" money. During the course of this cruise we say a woman hit a buffalo machine on the first night for $7670, two days later another lady hit a grand jackpot for $10,000 and another lady hit $4,500. my husband hit a buffalo machine for over $1,000 and I hit a major jackpot on a triple drum machine for over $900. Most people were complaining that they had lost their "ass". Had a great time playing and watching others play.
