On The Radiance on Jan 30th. Anyone try out their casino lately?
Last time on a cruise (Liberty) the slot machines seemed very “tight”.
Someone somewhere on these boards said that the consensus on their ship was that the slots were paying out at a higher overall percentage. Can’t find the post to reference, but this person said moderate payouts were common. Was this anecdotal or was actual math applied?

Anyway, curious here.

Slot machines on land or sea are there to make money for the casino. Cruise ships have a captive audience that cant wander over to another ships casino so I imagine the payout % might be different than land based but not too low. They do want people in the casino to hear the bells and cheers of wins. Lower denomination machines usually have a lower payout. I gamble slots and craps mainly. On slots I put in a fair amount of cash to start and max bet. I have been fortunate the last few cruises to end up ahead of the casino. Good luck to you.
