How important is it to use Verifly on my upcoming trip?

Not a single person ever asked for that either in December

As we already have it, we aren't bothered if it's needed or not. We keep an up to date printout with passport and insurance document, in case a country does an overnight policy change

We are headed to the Amazon on Viking Sky next month.  Got an email from Viking today indicating that they wanted us to use the Verifly app.  I re-installed it as I do remember using it for the Viking Iceland cruise in 2021 and uploaded our covid docs.  We had to show them in Iceland when checking in.  If we need to have them 'verified' when we get to the ship - I'll definitely question why we bothered with Verifly.
