GTY Room

I reserved a GTY Room earlier in the month for a May sailing.  I know that i won't know the exact location until very close to the cruise.  However, when I look at the reservation I can't tell if I choose inside or ocean view and it doesn't include a "description" on the receipt.  Stateroom indicates GTY and then stateroom obstructed indicates "0%", would this indicate that I likely did choose an ocean view or balcony GTY when I made the reservation earlier this month? Any information is appreciated.

Look for a code in your invoice with XB on it - for a balcony GTY. When you get 45 days out and check in, you might find out your location, even if not officially assigned.

Unfortunately the invoices do not show the type of gty booked.  I booked a balcony gty on Odyssey; my invoice says gty and 0% obstructed with a footnote about obstruction being updated after cabin is assigned (on Odyssey we could easily get an obstructed balcony).  Mine does not say category XB. 
 

All gty cabins seem to say 0% until assigned, then it can be updated for actual cabin information.

 

Here is the note on my invoice:
“If your stateroom is GTY (Guarantee) or WLT (Waitlist), once your room is assigned or confirmed, you’ll receive an updated invoice advising of your location. If your stateroom has an obstructed view, you’ll receive details once your room is assigned”

 

 

If you really do not recall what you booked, you might call and ask your category.

Just call reservations and talk (***gasp***) to an agent and ask them what you did.
