And would you suggest a certain one to go to ?
Here now and just wondering.

They have hamburgers, hotdogs, pasta salad (it's warm...) and brownies. Not particularly good. The Island buffet may be better- depending on the lines. It's better if you go as soon as it opens. Or wait until 2-ish and go back to the ship for the Buffet upstairs.

What’s the difference from the ships buffet to the islands buffet?

and all the food trucks have the same food ?

Island Buffet will be chicken, wings, some jerk bbq, salads, etc.  This is NOT the same as what might be offered in the ship buffet.  All food trucks (caveat her) offer the same: hamburger, veggie burger, etc with the exception of the few "pay for" trucks (if they are open) which charge for upscale food. This is clearly listed.

did my 4 mile walk and hit the ships buffet.   No lines.

Those lines move pretty quick as there are two complete serving lines.  I found the food very good there back in October for an island buffet.

Both lines were huge and not moving gas at all today.     Nothing really special to eat there.    I looked around at the options.

You can go back to the ship to eat, right? You don't have to go to the island buffet do you?

That's what we did, both times we were there.  We wanted to change out of wet bathing suits anyway, and it was nice being uncrowded but with lots of food choices.  (Buffet, not MDR.)
