Honolulu airport departures

How busy is the Honolulu airport for departures after the cruise ships dock?  I am thinking of 4:30 pm departure with excursion prior to that.  What time do we need to be at the airport if there is no fast track TSA?

There is TSA Precheck at HNL. You should be more than fine for 4:30. The airport isn't far from the cruise port. Have never had a super long wait. A lot of the overnight redeye flights to the East coast of the mainland are leaving around 3-5pm so there will be a little crunch around then.

A cruise ship isn't a blip to HNL, it is a very busy transpacific international airport. I'd still get to the airport two hours in advance.
