Woodwind Snorkel, then what to do?

We booked WW Sail and Snorkel. The excursion gets back about 1PM. Wanted some info on things to do with the time remaining. We are in port from 8AM to 10PM. The excursion returns at 1PM. Our plan is to go back to the ship to shower, grab a drink, a light snack. We want to tour and explore but not want to pay. We are thinking just walk around Kralendeijk from about 3PM to 9PM. If anyone has any ideas on things to do for about 6 hours it is appreciated.

There are lots of restaurants and bars along the waterfront if you turn left when you get off of the ship.  The opposite direction that you will go when you walk to get on Woodwind.  There are also shops in the area.  You could also ask the staff on Woodwind for suggestions.

Bonaire is mainly a diving/snorkeling destination. If you are simply wanting to walk around town it wont take long. A couple hours at Karels Bar is a nice way to spend some of your afternoon.

We did this excursion last 1/29/23. Great excursion! The crew is outstanding and even served a nice fresh cooked lunch with dessert. We got on a tour bus after changing and did the south end for $25. We didn’t have reservations he was just waiting for people. Taxis will also provide private tours as well. The prices are controlled and listed.

Just wondering how long it took for them to get back to your email??? We’ve been on their snorkeling tour several times, but I haven’t heard back from them after contacting them last week. I’ll wait a few days and try again.

In the same boat! I am considering picking up a cheap rental car at a rental place near Divi Flamingo, visiting the Donkey Sanctuary, driving back up to 1,000 steps then heading back toward the cruise port, where (I hope) we can return the car. Would be a busy but fun day!

Is it hard to get back in the snorkel boat from the water?

There are ladders that drop into the water to climb up. You hold on, remove your fins if you are wearing them, then climb up. In my experience, the crew is very helpful on snorkeling excursions to get you back onboard. Some, not this one, have actual stairs that lower into the water to make it easy.

We booked Woodwind in April.   We were at the meeting location 15 minutes prior to the trip.  No one ever showed up and we were told by the security guard that they had already left. It sounded like they got a full boat from the resort they are based out of and left.
