Booking Excursions for 2024

We have just booked our first Azamara cruise in the beginning of 2024.  Looking at the excursions, there are only a handful for each port and one port has none listed.

1. Are there usually only a few excursions to select from?

2. will more be posted nearer to the sail date (and if so, how far out)?

Excursions are often not listed so far ahead, there will be more later. Don’t worry, if you book one then a better one comes up later it’s easy to cancel and rebook through your Voyage Planner, especially if you’re using OBC. Even if you pay by cash it’s still easy, the money just goes back to your card for the cancelled excursion, then retaken for the new one. Most excursions are cancellable up to 48hours beforehand. A few specialist ones, such as those including private drivers or overnight stays have a longer cancellation deadline, but it’s usually clearly stated.

They will add excursions. We have a sailing in early September 2023. In December 2022, two of the ports had no excursions listed, as of yesterday those two ports had excursions listed, one port now has 6 listed, 1 port now has 9 listed.

I've booked a far-east cruise in April 2024 and cannot see any excursions, nor could the excursions team on board Pursuit in December!
