Glaciar Dog Sledding or Whale Watching in Juneau (July 2023)

Our cruise has 2 great ports of call for Whale Watching (Juneau & Icy Strait).  1.  Which port is better for Whale Watching?  

2. Do you have any reputable tour operators for Dog Sledding (Land or Glacier) and also Whale Watching? 

3. Is a combo available,?

Our whale watching in ISP was fantastic.....  I would guess whale watching excursions from Juneau would have similar success rates, as they are pretty close to each other and they may go to similar waters.   However, there are more things to do in Juneau besides whale watching, thus some people choose to do the whale watching in ISP for that reason.

Whale watching in Icy strait is suppose to be superb!

We loved our whale watching with Alaska Humpback Adventures out of Juneau in 2018. It is a small boat, that just takes 6 passengers.  It was such a great experience, that we just booked it again for this summer.

We have been out with both independent tour companies and always had a great experience.  We are looking forward to our two 2023 whale watching excursions with Jayleen and one 2023 whale watching excursion with Glacier Wind.
